Kris and Juliana do not get along very well. He picks on her and she picks on him. I know they love each other, they worry when one or another isn't nearby or home...
Here's some proof of the 'love' ... this made my heart melt ----->

How many more...
trophies do I need to catch up to Jake? ~ Kristopher
Kristopher played his last year of t-ball this year. (Thank Goodness!) He said he'll continue to play if he gets more trophies. Ha! He did excellent in hitting from the coach pitching, but liked to play in the dirt in the outfield. Next year, won't be so easy!! Good Job, Kris!

"Er name Mommy!"
My name is Mommy. Not to be confused with Mama or Mom. I'm Mommy, so there.
Juliana was playing on the bleachers (Kristopher had a tball game) and she was flirting with 2 older ladies. The one lady said "Your Mama said don't climb up there" ... Juliana turned around and said:
"Er name Mommy!" and she continued climbing.

Stockpile ... What coupons can bring YOU!
This is just whats on my attic steps. There's lots more under the bathroom sink, in the bathroom cupboard and the wipes/diapers in Juliana's room! (over 10 packs of wipes; 6 packs of pull-ups; 4 packs of diapers)...OH and my medicine cabinet (Aleve, Advil, Allergy meds ... )
I get most of my deals at CVS w/coupons and their Extra Care Program. Most days that I go, I walk out paying under $2 for an order of $20! Some days it is under $1!
It is amazing what I've saved. My receipt right now says:
Year to Date Savings: $2315.83 (and I just started 6 months ago!)
I asked Frank the other night if he wanted me to sell some of the wipes at the yard sale...he said no, because we will use it. And at first he was irritated with my deals!!
It's a game to me now ... I love it!!
www.afullcup.com is an awesome site to learn how to "CVS" or "Target" (plus loads of other stores) ... but the key is, COUPONS!! (If you join at afc.com please mention that YouMe&3 sent ya!)

that today is not Father's Day? Good thing mom corrected me last night ...
But, that didn't stop me from giving Frank his F's Day gift today...I can't keep things from him and I hate waiting...well, I told him it was for his Graduation and for F's Day ...
He got Guitar Hero for the Wii ...
and he didn't complain to me about giving it to him early :)

My husbandless year was NOTHING compared to what he accomplished/did.
Last night was graduation night! What a great event! Frank's speech was beyond awesome (and Mom, he prepared it in 20 minutes last night)! He received a nice plaque for Valedictorian, as well as, his diploma/certificate! My Father-In-Law got some great pictures, I only got a few good ones.
I'm amazed at all he had to learn for this and I'm extremely proud of him! I learned a lot last night by what he actually went through. My husbandless year is NOTHING compared to what he accomplished/did.
As far as a celebration goes...it needs to be put on hold for a bit. Frank wants to continue on and take his National Exams to have NREMTP (National Registered EMT Paramedic) after his name, and doesn't want to be jinxed.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and congrats and support in this last year ... Frank has needed it and I as well. I couldn't have made it w/out my family and my in-laws and the support from my friends!

You can't see me...
Juliana loves taking her bath in the kitchen sink, and to be honest, so do I. (Not taking my baths in the sink, but giving J her bath's in the sink...hehehe)
When it's time for her to come out, this is what she doesAh, to be so 'limber' again!

And he will try, try again...
1 out of 18 passed their practicals today...and Frank wasn't the 1 :(
The good thing is he passed enough of the 12 stations that he can retake as many times as needed to pass the practicals.
Someone asked me how he can graduate but not have passed his written National exam or his practical National exam...the best way I can explain - it's like a teacher. The teacher goes to college, graduates, but still has to pass a certified test to teach in most areas...Make sense?
So, Frank still has 2 tests to take. Re-take of the practicals and the written exam.
I KNOW he can do it!

Worth it!
This school year was another trying year for Jake...not near as bad as last year, his grades were much higher this year and his teacher wasn't lazy in helping him. After Frank and I talked w/the teacher, she seemed to realize we cared and that she should as well.
Jake started this year, 3rd grade, reading at a 1st grade level. His teacher last year was pure lazy and Jake can't learn in that type of environment. What a long year 2nd grade was! Even after many meetings w/the principal and support staff he still didn't do well in 2nd. It's like he missed a whole school year.
He is now caught up thanks to many of the teachers at Falling Spring.
I decided to send an email to his teacher today to thank her and wish her good luck (she is retiring) ... I get this back from her:
"I have really noticed growth in Jakob this year and he is getting the classroom award for the most improved. He doesn't know it yet, so don't say anything."
and this
"Thanks for all your cooperation this year. Not all parents work with teachers as well as you have."
After all we went through with Jake this year, this makes it all worth it.
And yes, Kristi, you told me to play nice w/the teacher and if I did, it would come together for us and Jake. Well, it did!

Can I quit?
I'm sure I can't, but just wanted to see if I could quit being a mom? Just for a little bit, maybe until Juliana is, well, like 18.
Last week, Jake had red cheeks. It was like wind burn...really weird. We thought maybe it was from the Dove body wash (yes, he uses body wash, thanks to CVS and coupons) ... still aren't sure. It went away about 3 days later...
A few days later, Juliana got it. *shrugging* It's red cheeks, nothing more. It's not from the sun because they weren't really out in the sun. For J, we use sensitive Huggies baby wash ... so I'm sure it's not that!
Now, Kris has it too! But, Kris has it on his arms as well, more like a rash?? I have no clue!
AND, Jake has been vomiting today ... does this never end?
BUT WAIT there's more <--------said in my best infomercial voice
I started a head cold/flu on Friday...Thankfully, after my nap (Yah, Frank is home!) I feel a bit better!
So, I'm turning in my 2 weeks notice ............. I quit.
