My wonderful sister-in-law offered to watch the kids tonight. I said HECK YA! So, Frank and I were to go to get a slice of pizza and then to the movies. Frank was 1 hour and 15 mins LATE.

We did make the movie.

It is now just about 11pm and I'm making Mac & Cheese ...

so you can beg, I mean pray, that Frank passes his National Exams!

July 30th is his written exam.

August 22nd is his practical.

CVS is running a great deal this week on their General Mills cereal...with coupons added to the deal, you can get 4 boxes of cereal for less than $3.50 TOTAL!!!! I've done this deal 3 x's now, that equals 12 boxes of cereal *cackling*

Rainbow of colors...

Ok, last post about my hair, seriously.

Jake told me the colors make me look cool ;)

the red is the actual color, the 'yellow' is more copper/blond in real life :)

That didn't last long...

you know those swishy bangs I got last night? Well, they are tucked in my hair and behind my ear now.

They looked nice while they lasted.

A change will do you good!

I had to cancel my last hair appointment 6 weeks ago. It has been 14 weeks since I have gone. (I grow my hair like I grow weeds, fast and plentiful)

I started going every 6-8 weeks about 2 years ago, some days I don't want to go, but force myself, knowing how good I'll feel when I'm done.

Tonight I got my roots fixed and some blond and RED highlights. I also went a bit daring...I got swooshy bangs!!!

My loving boys said I look beautiful ... ahh, they know how to get on my good side.

And Frank said "You don't look like you" ~ Thanks honey, I'll take that as a compliment!

"it's snowing mommy"

Did you know that it was snowing this morning in PA? Well, Juliana said it was!

Where did all that energy come from?

I cleaned tonight (with Jake's help, good boy!), because my cleaning friend is coming tomorrow to clean.

The FIFTH of July...the fourth was rained out!

Juliana was very excited for the fireworks ... until they started! Here she is hiding under her sweater on Didi's lap...poor Ana kept saying "I wanna go home"



Of course the boys had a blast (get it, blast? ba dump bump) and were their own goofy selves.


Here they are humoring mommy by holding still...for just a second!


This year a friend of mine came to watch with us...she's someone I met online. LOL Yep...but of course not a dating site...or was it? LOL

What really WAS in that pool water?

It's 11am ... all 3 kids are still sleeping! I'm going to let them swim at the Norris's pool all the time now...I wonder what they put in the pool water and if I can use it in the bath tub? Ha!

My cousin's son is here...
